The company's principal activity is providing such as trasportation by trucks and trailers (low beds, sidelifters, tri-axles, superlinks, stepdecks ect) with cranes.

Jacobs transport had its beginning from 1999 and has provided many years of excellent service to the transport and container industries. The business is owned by two determined brothers, Gys and Seun Jacobs.

They are currently a group off approximately 40 experienced employees. Their employees are their most important resource that they can offer the customers. Their objective is to provide a group of experienced employees who focus on performing each job in a safe environment.

Jacobs transport currently operates in Vereeniging (Vaal Triangle) and is equipped with the newly Man, Mercedes Benz, Isuzu and International Eagle trucks. The new Steelbro mk-361 sidelifter is also part of their collection. All their trucks are equipped with ahighly recognized cranes. The sidelifter can pick up to a massive 32000kg.

All their trucks and trailers are meticulously maintained with timely rigorous inspections and services. The entire fleet are equipped with the latest Fleetech and Omnibridge satellite-based tracking and communications systems, taking full advantage of advanced technology to productively service their customers. They continuously enhance their comprehensive transportation management system which includes electronic logging, communication messaging, detailed routing, and automated diagnostic checks. Keeping up with the latest high tech innovations has enabled Jacobs transport to operate at peak performance and better prepare their selves and their customers for the new "millennium".

Jacobs transport has sought and developed extensive relationships with many trading partners nationwide.  Through that relationship with the major companies they have developed a bigger standard of delivery and service for their selves as well as their customers.
